Tour Our Facility
Meadows Veterinary Clinic is located on Meadows Ave (Route 150) in East Peoria. We are 0.6 miles from Washington Rd (Route 8) on the south side of the road. We are next door to the Unique Tap.
Scroll over each image below for an explanation of the picture.
Our front entrance is away from the parking lot and road for pet safety. Please feel free to walk your pet in the front yard- just let staff know if we need to pick up any "samples"!
Feel free to use our outdoor seating. From these benches, you can enjoy the antics of the "Kitty Playroom" and look in on our "Cat Ward".
Our "Kitty Playroom" is a favorite hangout for our clinic cats. Hospitalized cat patients can enjoy an outdoor view in our cat only ward.
Our reception desk is where patients are checked in or out and future appointments are made. Please feel free to call in or email prescription refill requests so that they will be ready for pick up at the front desk.
Our spacious waiting area helps even our shy patients feel comfortable. Kids are welcome to use the activity table while they wait.
Our staff members are happy to help weigh your pet as part of their physical exam. Our scale is always open! For pets on a diet- feel free to stop in to check your pet's weight at your convenience.
Both Exam Room #1 and #3 are equipped with electric lift tables. These tables lower to the floor and slowly raise to elevate our larger patients safely to the right height for a comfortable exam.
Most minor procedures can be done right in the exam room (vaccines, nail trims, anal glands expression, ear treatments, etc). We use the calming pheromone, Adaptil, in our dog exam rooms for a better pet experience.
This is our "cat only" exam room where our feline patients can feel more at ease away from the sight and smell of unfamiliar dogs. We use Feliway diffusers in this room to encourage calm kitty visits.
This is a glimpse through the surgery room door. Our practice performs many general surgeries here including: canine & feline spay & neuter, gastro-intestinal procedures, tumor removal, etc.
The treatment room is for: lab sample processing, dental cleanings, wound treatments, and x-rays. This room is outfitted with lab equipment, ultrasonic dental scaler, exam "wet" table, xray machine, and anesthesia equipment.
We offer digital xrays for a faster, sharper image. Pets are laid on the white tabletop (shown with protective lead gear) for xrays to be taken. The computer stores these images so they can be viewed throughout the clinic.
In our cat only ward, half of the cages have windows that look out into our entryway. The other half are closed in for our shy patients. All of the cages are outfitted with sitting shelves & portholes.
This is our dog ward and grooming area. Off to the right (not pictured) is the bathing area.
We also have a Kennel room with traditional dog runs for our largest patients or those that need more room than what a cage offers.
Our fenced backyard offers ample exercise room for patients that stay with us.
